Live Peeler Crab – Solent Baits

Our Live Peeler Crabs are a highly effective and sought-after sea fishing bait, ideal for targeting a wide range of species. Please note that crab size will vary depending on the season, which is a natural and expected part of peeler availability.

• During the first moult (March–April), peelers are usually larger male crabs

• As the season progresses, peelers tend to be smaller females and smaller males

Because of this natural cycle, crab sizes will vary, and we ask customers to bear this in mind when ordering.

Please also note that not all peeler crabs will be ready for immediate use. Some may need to be kept and brought on for a few days before they reach the perfect peeling stage.

Live Peeler Crabs can be purchased individually or in multiples.
