Our IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) whole mackerel are frozen at peak freshness to lock in natural oils, texture and durability. Supplied in convenient 3 packs, each fish can be easily separated without thawing the entire pack — perfect for session use.

These mackerel are highly effective when used whole, as flapper baits, or cut into strips and fillets to release maximum scent into the water.

Fishing Tips

For best results, use whole on pulley rigs for larger fish or cut into flappers to increase scent dispersion. Mackerel also works extremely well when combined with squid or lugworm to create highly effective cocktail baits.

Storage

Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

All bait is vacuum packed and shipped in insulated packaging with ice packs.
